Recurring Saturday Morning Volunteer Workdays 

8:30 - 10:30 every Saturday June - August 2026 

Location: 669 Middle Road, La Pointe WI 

😎Want to spend some time in nature doing something productive and helpful to the island community? Please join us at the MICG on Saturday mornings to help with our gardening work. Everyone is welcome, and you do not need to be a garden member, you do not need to live on the island, you do not need to have prior gardening experience. We thrive on community and it’s one of the most important things we work on growing!  

Join Sarah Holst and others in the garden on Saturday mornings. Sarah will be there to guide work that needs to be done in the garden. The work tasks will include things like watering, weeding, weed whacking, mowing, harvesting, fence mending, etc. Please bring your work gloves, a big jug of water, and your sunscreen!  
You can come for as little or as much of the time as your desire and time allow :) 

We appreciate the help and look forward to getting to know you if you're new to the MICG and our efforts to provide produce for the local food shelf.
