It’s Time To Stake a Claim!

If you want to join us in the garden, it’s time to reserve your plot! We welcome all gardeners, both experienced and newbies! Below is everything you need to know and do.

Great news for this season: 

• No Increase in Rental Rates: Despite rising costs, we've kept our rental rates the same, making it as easy as possible for you to continue gardening. 

• Introducing “Rent One – Give One” - In 2026, we hope to encourage new members, and we aim to remove financial barriers that might otherwise discourage some from having their own garden plot. So, when you rent your plot this year, make it a double by renting a plot for someone else who otherwise might not be able to rent! It’s an easy, meaningful, and affordable way to support the garden and expand our membership.  Here’s how it works: 

• Rent One – rent your plot for the 2026 season using the Rental Request Form (scroll way down to find the form. On the form, in the comments section, indicate that the rental is for your personal plot. If you need fee assistance, please indicate that in the comments section and your request will be processed confidentially.  

• Give One - Complete the same process a second time, but in the comment section on the second rental form, add “donation plot” 

 Payment Options:  Note: Please indicate in the comments section on your form how you will pay, indicating either “check”, “on-line” or “fee assistance requested”.

When you pay by check, the entire amount goes to the MICG and avoids the online processing fees we must pay!   2. To pay online simply scroll down past the online Rental Request Form (way down!) to find the payment button.  

In the event we do not have renters to take advantage of the donated plots, we will use the donated plot(s) proceeds as part of MICG general funding, which supports gardeners' wages, property rental, supplies, event expenses, etc.
