Fun Volunteer Day Building Herb Beds

On May 27, 2025, the MICG community came together to build new raised herb beds that will support providing herbs for the community food shelf and our gardeners. Not only are the new beds beautiful, but it was a fun morning in the Spring sunshine!

It was also an educational session as Master Gardener Margie Fredrickson provided instruction on how to build, how to fill and prep the beds with soil and nutrients that will feed the herbs as they grow. Thanks to everyone that donated time, energy and material for the project.
